Jessica Sprague's class

So, as I posted before, I had signed up for a free class from Jessica Sprague. I was out of town while the class was going on, but I was still able to complete it after I got back... well, Friday. I really enjoyed all the things we learned and it was a lot of fun. The class mainly focused on how to use frames, stamps, brushes, clipping masks, and textures! She also taught us how to do a storyboard. It is amazing what you can do with a photo. Here are some of the projects and pics that I completed with it. Go check out her website to see some other great classes and tutorials she has to offer!

Feet over at I heart Faces

This week is all about feet over at I heart faces! This picture is truly one of my favorites, and one I will treasure forever! It was taken when Madisyn was about 2 months old! I love baby feet, and this picture reminds me of the days when her feet were oh so tiny! Head on over to I Heart Faces to see some more fun feet pics!

I keep trying to add the button, but it keeps saying I have an error when I do... I hope I can still enter! I don't know why it won't let me today when it usually does!

Jessica Sprague- project 1

So I had signed up to take this class a few weeks ago, and then totally forgot about it! It is a free one that teaches you how to use frames and other png's in photoshop! I thought it would be fun, so I signed up! Anyways, I am 3 days behind, but here is the first project! this week was adding a frame and wordart. I am really excited to have learned this, and wondered why I hadn't before. But, I am learning now, so that is good. Head on over to Jessica Sprague's site to learn more fun editing and scrapbooking ideas!
This picture was taken on the 4th of July as we were running back up my parents hill! Madi thought it was so much fun to be able to do it herself. I had to run in front of her to catch her giggling and smiling! She is a little ball of energy, and we have so much fun with her!

Wedding Bells at I heart faces!

I have done a couple of weddings, but it was mainly before I really got into photography more. I look back at those pictures, and think that they really should have gotten a professional. Well, I really should have just used a better camera! But, the last wedding I shot was my one of my best friends. I loved the pics that I shot for her, I just feel bad now that I was only using a 4 megapixel camera! If only I had known then what I know now!!

But, here is one of the shots from her wedding. This is the ringbearer, and he was just such a doll! I looked over, and there he was with his finger up his nose! Such a little boy!
Head on over the I heart faces to see some more great wedding shots!

Let's Hear it for the Boys!!

So this week is the boys week over at I heart faces. I have a favorite of Brett that I am entering. This was taken at Disneyland on the Buzz Lightyear ride! He had a blast being a little boy again! He got to shoot his laser and score some points, and boy did he get into it! It was such a blast watching him!Everything was moving so fast, it was hard to capture his face clearly! But, this was the best I could do! I love the look on his face, he was like a kid in a candy store!

This shot of Brevan was taken on Mother's Day weekend down in Panguitch. He found a butterfly, and it let Brevan pick him up. The butterfly just sat there letting him and Parker look at it. It was so cute! Every time it moved, Brevan's face would look surprised, as it does in this photo! I'm so glad I was able to capture that look, it is priceless to me. He moved his hand, or you could see the butterfly better, but can you see the wings peeking out!

So head on over to

and check out all the other fun entries!

Cowley Family

I realized I had never posted any of the Cowley Family pictures. We went up to Monrovian park and had a fun time with this cute family. They are Chelsea, my sister-in-laws, brother and sister-in-law. So I know them through her. It was a fun time, and we got some cute pictures! One of the girls was a little fussy at the end, but who can blame her, I take a lot of pics so they can hopefully have a few good faces. We bribed her with some candy, but she was done. But, we still got some good shots earlier. So here they are!
They wanted something to give to family, so this is what we came up with.

Sepia tone at Iheart Faces!

So, it is sepia tone over at I heart faces, I have a hard time liking sepia, so this one was a hard one. I wasn't going to participate, and then decided I wasn't going to get any better by not doing it! So, here is my entry! This is madisyn when we went on a 4 wheeler ride the other day. We had stopped for a break and she was sitting with dad. I loved her expression, and the dirt around her lips... she loves to play in the dirt (she eats it mostly)!

Here is my adult entry. This is Grandpa Errol with Madisyn! I love his expression for some reason, just a look of adoration or something for his granddaughter. Well, I guess I didn't get the adult one entered in time. I was going there to post, but didn't make it in time I guess. So, here it is anyways... I still like it.

Head on over to iheartfaces or click on the button below to see some more great entries!
